My name is Francesca, I’m 28 and a last-year PhD student at the University of Basel. I speak Italian, English and Brazilian Portuguese fluently, plus a little Spanish.
I joined the Pawshake community because of my endless love for animals. I grew up with several dogs and other amazing creatures since I was 2 years old, and I miss them every day. At the moment I can’t adopt a pet of my own, so I would be honored to take care of your four-legged friend, whether for a short walk or an overnight stay. I already have pet-sitting experience with both dogs and cats, and I’m always ready to play with them 🐾
What I offer
Walks: my walks usually last 30 minutes based on the app's indications. I’m happy to adjust the route and pace to your dog’s age, energy and needs.
Boarding and day care: I’ll follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, so they feel safe and relaxed.
Feeding and routine: I’m happy to follow your instructions on meals, portions, treats and anything else, and we can talk it through together beforehand so everything is clear.
Supervision: I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and wellbeing, and I’ll send you photos and updates during the stay.
Time alone: I would discuss with you the max. amount of time that your pet can be alone, but I would rather stay with them the whole time.
My schedule is flexible, and because of work I’m especially free on weekends. I live in the center of Basel and can easily reach different neighborhoods and dog parks.
Before any booking, I’d love to meet you and your pet, and to talk about their habits, needs and any special requirements. For more details, feel free to contact me!
